Inspired by the wild grapevines entwined around his childhood porch, Bill has forged grapevines of steel to wrap gently around each other in a braid, sprouting leaves and tendrils as they rise from a sturdy base of three leaves to support the disc and pin. Bill was intrigued by the crude, functional forge fueled by wood in a scene from "The African Queen", and finds something primal in the fire and coal of a forge that made him want to get his hands dirty.These candlesticks look wonderful with short or medium tapers (solid tapers only) or small ball candles. Set them on your table to add a touch of timeless beauty to your home decor. Made in the USA, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
